GIRLS' HOCKEY PRE-SEASON SKATE @ H-F ICE ARENA

Thinking about joining the H-F Ice Arena's all-girls hockey team, the Pirates? Come to this pre-season skate and registration day! You do not have to be committed to joining the team to attend this event. Event is for girls ages 11-14. Please bring full hockey equipment and a light & dark jersey.
FAB FUN @ LIONS CLUB POOL

Location: Lions Club Park & Pool
Seniors, grab your towels and your sunscreen: it’s time to party! Join us on for a day at Lions Club Pool. The event will be include a no-dive, timed swim meet consisting of 50-yard freestyle, 50-yard backstroke, 50-yard breaststroke, 50-yard butterfly, 100-yard individual medley and 100-yard freestyle. There will also be an aqua exercise class, noodle nonsense, the senior slide and fun relays. For those who prefer to stay dry, there will also be deck games such as LCR and beanbags. Hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, iced beverages and more will be served.
The fee is $8 for H-F residents and $12 for non-residents. The registration deadline is 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 19. There is no additional fee to sign up for the swim meet; sign up for competitors will be between 9-9:30 a.m. at the event. Lions Club Pool is located at 1041 Ridge Road in Homewood.

Join us at this new event to listen to your neighbors and friends! You'll be amazed at the variety & quality of local talent we've found in Homewood, Flossmoor and Glenwood. More than 15 bands & performers will take to the stage from noon-8 p.m. Food, arts and fun will all be part of the day in the park.
