 Astride Dolphin Lake at 183rd St. & Governors Highway sits the Dolphin Lake Clubhouse.
The Clubhouse is truly a versatile facility. With its two large meeting rooms, restrooms and kitchen, it is ideal for community meetings, private parties and celebrations. Our Recreation Department uses the facility as its central location of drama programs, bridge club and some day camps.
DOLPHIN LAKE PRECAUTION:
Swimming and ice skating are never allowed on/in Dolphin Lake itself. The lake’s constant undercurrent is dangerous, regardless of the season. Conditions are never safe for swimming or ice skating.
FISHING AT DOLPHIN LAKE
Fishing is permitted at the lake for those individuals who have a State of Illinois Fishing License (unless exempt under state laws) and a permit from the H-F Park District. Permits can be purchased at the Goldberg Center for $5/resident, $15/non-resident.
Fishing limits are:

Large-mouth bass: catch & release only

Walleye: 18-in. minimum size, two fish per day

Trout: Three fish per day

Bluegill: Six-in. minimum size, 10 fish per day

Two meeting rooms are available to reserve for your next family party or business function. Full table and chair set up is offered.
