The H-F Sports Complex, a community gymnasium, was constructed in 2003 at 18211 S. Aberdeen Ave., Homewood. This $2.3 million facility is a cooperative project between the H-F Park District and Homewood School District 153.
During school hours it is used for physical education classes. When school is dismissed and during the summer months, the Sports Complex is used for after-school programs, intramurals, school-break activities and summer camps. On weekends and weekday evenings, this facility is used for open gyms and volleyball and basketball leagues.
On Wednesday evenings, the Complex is transformed into the H-F Table Tennis Center.
