Adults, 55 & Better

Are you age 55 or better? If so, H-F Park District's FAB programs are designed especially for you! The Senior Center is located at the Marie Irwin Community Center, 18120 Highland Ave., Homewood. We provide a varied schedule of activities to help meet your social and leisure needs. Programs are open to all regardless of income, background or interest.

There are no membership fees, and everyone 55 and better is invited to participate! You do not need to participate in the "Let's Do Lunch!" program to enjoy FAB activities.

Senior Advisory Board
Senior Advisory Board Meetings are held at the Irwin Center on the first Wednesday of each month at 1 p.m.

Senior Advisory Board members are Herb Bliese, Jane Edwards, Bob Freund, Richard Keen, Art Pelliccioni, Shirley Sanlin, Bunny Schultz, Bob Scott.

Let's Do Lunch
Join us for a delicious lunch followed by activities such as bingo, movies, or informative and entertaining speakers. A full meal is served on Mondays and Wednesdays. The cost is $3.75 for residents and $5.50 for non-residents. To attend, call 708-957-7275 by noon on Friday (for Monday's lunch) or Tuesday (for Wednesday's lunch) to reserve your spot. (Contractual program - Golden Card discounts do not apply.)

FAB program participants must have independent self-help skills including feeding and washroom skills.
