Race Day Registration Race day registration will take place from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. at the Flossmoor Sculpture Park
Race Packet Pick-Up Participants can pick up their race packets Friday, September 8 at the H-F Racquet Club during business hours. Runners can also pick up their packets the morning of the race.

Race Start and Finish The run and walk start at 8:30 and 8:35 a.m. at the corner of Flossmoor Road and Central Drive. The events will finish at the Flossmoor Sculpture Park.
The Course The 3.1 Mile/5 Kilometer course is certified and sanctioned by USATF (Certification # IL-04067-JW). Markers are located at each mile and a digital clock will be at the finish line. Bicycles, in-line skates, roller skates, scooters, other wheeled vehicles (except wheelchairs), and dogs are not allowed during these events. Strollers are allowed for the walk only.
Water Stations/ Medical Aid Water stations are near the start and midpoint of the course. There will also be water and medical personnel available in the finish line area.
Facilities Portable washrooms are located near the start and finish lines. Adequate facilities will be available to accommodate all participants.
Special Needs We invite any participant with a special need to contact our staff upon registration so that necessary arrangements may be made
Volunteer Opportunities This event needs many volunteers to help on the day of the race. We need people to help with refreshments, cleanup, course security and in many other ways. If you are not planning to participate in the run or walk and can give a few hours the morning of September 9, 2006, we can use your help! If interested, please contact Nick Quirke by email.

Awards and Results Trophies are awarded to the top male/female overall finishers. Trophies are also given to the top male/female runners in the following categories: master (40-49), veteran (50-59), and senior (60 & over). Trophy winners are not eligible for medals.

Medals are given to the top 3 male and female finishers in the following age divisions (3 deep): 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over. Some age groups may be condensed depending on participation levels.
