Adopt-A-Spot

H-F Park District’s Adopt-A-Spot program is the perfect service project for scouting groups, civic organizations, neighborhood groups and families. Adopt-A-Spot volunteers help the Park District prepare for spring and summer by “adopting” a flower bed at a local park. The Park District provides all planting materials, tools and a sign identifying the volunteer group. The group provides time, energy and enthusiasm. Adopt-A-Spot plantings are encouraged to begin on Park Pride Day, held on the first Saturday in May. A variety of locations are available.
