22nd Annual Starry Nights Concerts Presented by the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District It was a “Hard Days Night” when Beatles tribute band “1964” came to town as part of Homewood-Flossmoor Park District’s Starry Nights concert series earlier this summer. Inclement weather forced the show to end after only three songs. Not content to “Let It Be,” the park district has rescheduled the concert for Thursday, Aug. 7. Patrons of the original July 10 concert can bring their tickets or receipts to the Goldberg Center, 3301 Flossmoor Road, or the Irwin Center, 18120 Highland Ave., to receive reissued tickets. Tickets will be available for the general public beginning Monday, July 28. ![]() Advance tickets are $12/adults and $7/children ages 3-15. Tickets can be purchased at 708-957-0300 or 708-957-PARK, or in person at the Goldberg Center or the Irwin Center. Tickets at the gate are an additional $2 each. Attendees will take a trip back to an unforgettable year in music history as “1964” The Tribute recreates an early live 1960s Beatles’ show. Named the “Best Beatles Tribute on Earth” by Rolling Stone magazine, “1964” will bring the simplicity, talent and showmanship of the Beatles to the Starry Nights’ stage. The performance will include early Beatles’ hits, such as Rock and Roll Music, Day Tripper, I’ll Follow the Sun, Hard Days Night and many more. The Ohio-based band consists of Gary Grimes (Paul), Tom Work (George), Terry Manfredi (Ringo) and Mark Benson (John). Concert goers can purchase snacks, dinner and dessert from vendors. Beer, wine, pop and margaritas will be sold by the park district.
