22nd Annual Starry Nights Concerts Presented by the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District For more than two decades, the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District has brought top-notch entertainers to town at the Marie Irwin Bandshell, located in Irwin Park at Ridge Road and Highland Avenue in Homewood. This summer as the Starry Nights concert series celebrates its 22nd anniversary concert goers will enjoy three shows: Gone 2 Paradise, the ultimate Jimmy Buffett tribute band, on Friday, June 13; 1964 The Tribute, the number one Beatles show, on Thursday, July 10; and Together, a salute to Motown, on Friday, July 25. H-F Park District's Starry Nights Concerts are held at the Marie Irwin Center outdoor bandshell, located at Ridge Road and Highland Avenue in the heart of downtown Homewood. Concert evenings begin at 6:30 p.m. when Irwin Park opens to the public. New this season, every Starry Nights concert will feature free family activities. Activities include Picnic Games, Moon Jump, Face Painting, Themed activities & contests, including bean bags, costumes, beach themes and more. Then as the sky darkens and spotlights shine, the show begins....
